Modules 1-4 are focused on the Digital Storytelling process as a way to express diversity and to promote inclusion in activities. You will acquire skills in digital storytelling, see examples of stories other students have shared and create your own story on the themes of INCLUSION, WELLBEING AND DIVERSITY. Module 3 looks at the editing steps in the Digital Storytelling process to create your digital story.
The activities in the module are designed to:
Object Game
Bring one personal object from home. Tell the class the reason why you brought the object and what it means to you/how it represents you.
The content is in two parts:
1) Visuals – either images or video or combination of both. This can be created, or copyright free content used.
2) Voiceover recorded. This is a very important aspect of a digital story and is your script, allowing for the timing in your storyboard.
A digital story is a video, so you need access to video editing software. We recommend WeVideo.com.
